David Inouye is a U.S. Army officer with a background in military intelligence. His career has spanned assignments to Iraq and Afghanistan as well as a tour with the National Airborne Operations Center. He currently serves at the Pentagon. As a writer of speculative fiction, his stories blend the eldritch nightmares of cosmic horror with the equally frightening bureaucracies of the defense and intelligence communities.

David’s vision is to write entertaining stories while improving his craft and incorporating topics and themes where his experience allows him to offer novel insights – privacy and espionage, the enduring effects of war, and Japanese-American internment are some of the issues he has investigated in his recent works.
